Abby Band

The Abbotsford Concert Band is a community based non-profit society that focuses on rehearsing and improving our musical skills, having fun, performing locally and abroad, and contributing to community spirit through music.

We have been part of the music community in the Fraser Valley for nearly fifty years, playing a wide assortment of music from marches to dance music Paul Mauriat to symphonic festival pieces… at just about any sort of community event where music can lift the heart.

Members of our band include musicians of ages in their teens to eighties and range from people who like to keep up with their hobby to musicians with a career in the field. If you took band in school or learned later, the Abbotsford Concert Band is a great way to utilize and refine the skills you’ve learned while having fun. We are always looking for new intermediate to advanced players of all ages.

The Abbotsford Concert Band rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:30pm – 9:30pm in the music room of Rick Hansen Secondary School.
